The West Texas A&M Buffaloes were victorious for homecoming Saturday over Central State, 72-0.

Senior quarterback Dustin Vaughn threw for a career high seven touchdowns in the game.  The win pushes WT to 5-0 for the season, Central State dropped to 0-5.

Vaughn also broke the school career passing record of 9.799 years formerly held by Taylor Harris.  Vaughn threw for 401 years and seven touchdowns.  He was 32 of 40 with no interceptions.

It's the second homecoming shutout in a row after the Buffs defeated Abilene Christian last season 36-0.

Next up for the Buffs is Tarleton State Saturday night in Stephenville.  WT is next at home against Angelo State on October 19th.
