Even though it is summer and football season hasn't even started, West Texas A&M has finalized basketball schedules for next season.

The men’s basketball schedule for the 2018-2019 season features 31 regular season contests with 14 of those being at home where WT went 17-1 last season.

The Buffs will open the season on the road on November 2-4 at an event in Anaheim, California. They also play a couple of games in Colorado on November 9-10 against Western State and Adams State before opening the home schedule on Thursday, November 15th against Lubbock Christian followed by a home matchup with the University of Science & Arts on November 17th at the FUBC.

The WT Thanksgiving Classic is set November 23rd and 24th in Canyon.

The first LSC game for the Buffs will be November 29th at home against Cameron.

The WT men's team is coming off the program's first NCAA Division II Final Four appearance as they set a school record with a 32-4 record.

 – The Lady Buffs also announced their 2018-19 schedule. The slate features 32 regular season contests with 15 of those coming inside of the First United Bank Center in Canyon where WT went 11-3 last season.

The Lady Buffs will head to Austin, Texas on Sunday, October 28th to take on the Texas Longhorns in exhibition action at the Frank Erwin Center before opening the regular season on November 2-4 at the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Tipoff Classic in Anaheim, California.

WT’s home opener will be on November 9-10 as they host the LSC/RMAC Challenge at the First United Bank Center with contests against UC-Colorado Springs and Regis.

The WT Thanksgiving Classic will see New Mexico Highlands, Colorado State-Pueblo and Eastern New Mexico come to Canyon for the annual holiday event as the Lady Buffs will face the Cowgirls on Friday, November 23rd followed by a Saturday matchup with the Thunderwolves on the 24th.

Lone Star Conference action begins on Thursday, November 29th as the Cameron Aggies come to Canyon.

The Lady  Buffs finished 29-5 last season, winning the LSC before falling in the title game of the NCAA South Central Region Tournament.
