We have had some beautiful weather here in the Texas Panhandle. We have also had some less than stellar days. It's I guess what we love about the Panhandle.

If you don't like the weather just wait a day. Heck sometimes we get all 4 seasons in one day. Am I correct?

We get the extreme rain, wind, drought, heat and cold. You just never know. I have made it this far without turning on my air conditioner. How about you? I mean I love the spring where you can save a little bit on your electric bill by not running it yet.

At what point do I need to just give in? I work long days and leave around 5 am for work. Some days I don't get home until close to 7 pm. So when I leave I haven't felt the need to turn on the AC just yet.

I came home to this yesterday. I still didn't turn the AC on. I am waiting. I put on the ceiling fan in my bedroom. Luckily I already put my summer sheets on my bed. So I am comfortable at night.

With the many days of low to mid 80's I am wondering when I have to give in. I am going to go down fighting. I do this in the winter also. I wait as long as possible to turn on the heat. It's a game, I guess, that I like to play.

Just trying to put off the inevitable higher electricity bills. They will come. We know that. Have you broken down and put your air conditioner on yet? Comment below.
