West Viginia Voters Choose Incarcerated Felon In Texas Over Obama In Primary
We've got this joke in Texas about Obama. Alright, we've got about ten gazillion jokes about Obama in just Amarillo, much less in Texas. I don't know about you but I've never cast a vote as a joke.
The setup goes something like this:
An felonious inmate in a Texas prison decides to send in a $2,500 filling fee and one notarized document to get on the ballot in a Democratic Primary election in West Virginia. Which he accomplishes. Voters identify him as 'that guy from Texas'.
The punchline: He won!
He didn't actually win. He did get 40% of the vote to Obama's 60%. 40 out of 100 people voted for 'the other guy' apparently.
Officials don't believe he can get on any further ballots as the requirements from this point are a bit more stringent.
And I'd bet West Virginia starts to include at least a Google search of new applicants in future elections.
