Trade-A-Thon Returns, Courtesy Of Damron’s Pawn

Saturday marked the return of Trade-A-Thon.

It’s the show that invites you to call in and list for sale pretty much anything you want.  We’ve been doing it for over nine years and still doing it, thanks to our new sponsor.

Damron’s Pawn is now the presented sponsor of the show and we know you’ll join us in thanking them for saving Trade-A-Thon from the radio show scrap heap.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing.  It helps us learn a little about them and provides a theme that ties together all the calls.

With Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to know how far along you were with your shopping.

The first vote on the new show was pretty much split right down the middle.  For the record, I haven’t started yet either.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program that we go over at the beginning of each hour, I also bring you a special Rule #6.  It changes every week.

Two weeks ago we were certain Trade-A-Thon was a goner.  But at the literal last minute, Damron’s Pawn stepped up to keep us on the air.  It provided the inspiration for the new show’s first rule #6.
