The Texas DPS Worked Over 100 Wrecks During Snowy Weekend

The snow on Saturday left roadways treacherous for area drivers.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has stated from Saturday at 4pm to Sunday at 4p, they responded to 119 accidents during the weekend winter weather.

Many of the accidents were multiple vehicle pileups due to the slick conditions.

Several vehicles that were pulling loads were safely escorted at slow speeds by the DPS Commercial Enforcement Troopers to secure parking locations until conditions improved.
