The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show Wants Girl Scout Cookies

We had another exciting Saturday of buying, selling and trading on The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show.  We also argued Girl Scout cookies.

Maybe not argue, but Girl Scout cookies were a big topic of discussion.  It's the show where you can buy, sell and trade just about anything.  And sometimes we talk about food and we get very hungry.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Since Girl Scout cookie season has officially started we wanted to know what your favorite cookie was.  This meant things were a little more complicated than our usual 'yes or no' or 'this or that' question.  There are ten varieties of Girl Scout cookies.  We had an 11th category which was, 'I don't like girl scouts', and thankfully no one voted for that one.  Here's how it shook out:

Savannah Smiles, Thanks-A-Lots, Dulce De Leche, and the new cookie, Mango Cremes did receive any votes.

Lemonades - 2 (my second favorite and a close one)

Trefoils/Shortbread - 4

Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs - 5

Peanut Butter Sandwhiches/Do Si Dos - 5

Thin Mints - 6

Caramel Delites/Samoas - 8 (my favorite)

Now all I've got to do is find somebody selling Girl Scout Cookies!

RULE #6

Along with the usual rules of the show I always bring you a special Rule #6.  It is usually inspired by something that happened to me the previous week.  Last week a friend and I were in Walgreens.  I took a knit cap off my head when I walked in and put it in my pocket.  We got back to the station and I couldn't find my hat!  I checked all my pockets(I thought) and we got back in the vehicle to run back and fetch my cap.  We got right in the middle of traffic and then I found it in the one pocket I hadn't checked.

Rule #6: Check all your pockets before you freak out.
