A Saturday morning of buying, selling, and trading is behind us.  Turkey day is ahead of us.

Every Saturday morning we open the phone lines for you to list for sale the things you no longer want for the money you need.  We expect everyone had a good time, especially is you made some cabbage.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing.  It helps us get to know you better and provides a commonality between our contributors.

Knocking on the door of Thanksgiving, we only had this show and the next before the giving of thanks.  If you've listened to the show during the holidays over the years you are probably well aware of my disdain for turkey.

As a bird they are pretty revolting and for me, their meat is even worse.  I would much rather bite into a crunchy, cheesy, spicy taco.  It left me wondering what you'd prefer.

Turkey or Taco?

Turkey 21

Taco 10

A little over two-to-one and obviously being the time honored traditional bird of prey for Thanksgiving eaters, the vote was not a surprise.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program that we recite at the beginning of each hour, I always bring you a special Rule #6 that changes every week.  Sometimes it is inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week and others it's a simple thought or phrase I found especially witty or wise.

I know about half of you are happy about the presidential election and around half of you are spitting mad about it.  Regardless, I think it is time for everybody to take a deep breath and let things lie for a little while.  You know, before you run off what's left of your friends.

Rule #6: Refrain from discussing politics until the new year.

Hope you can keep those thoughts to yourself and hope even more to hear from you this Saturday for the next Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
