The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Shreds

We had another exciting day of bringing buyers and sellers together on The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.

It's the show that invites you to call in and attempt to sell the stuff you no longer want or need to get the cash you do.  We do it every Saturday morning on KIXZ and as always you are invited to participate.

THE BIG QUESTION

Saturday the Better Business Bureau held it's second free shred day.  Supervised by the Amarillo Police Department the event was free and ran from 9-2.  It got us to thinking about your shredding habits and what lengths you went to to protect your identity.

Do you shred your personal document?

Yes 25

No 8 (although 5 of those say they burn them)

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special Rule #6.  It changes every week and is usually inspired by something that happened to me over the last week.

My dad is a pretty funny cat.  Oftentimes when I'm talking to him all he wants to talk about is other people instead of talking about me. He wants to discuss my sister most of all  This used to bother me quite a bit until my sister complained that all my dad wanted to talk about to her was me.  Not only did this complaint help me know my dad a little better it also was the making of a good rule.

Rule #6: Don't tell other people how you feel about someone, tell that someone.
