The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Likes Corn Dogs At The Fair

We had another fun Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon and got in the spirit of the Tri-State Fair.

It's the show that invites you to call in and sell the things you don't need or in some cases find the things you don't have.  We do it every Saturday and you are encouraged to call in and participate.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Being the kickoff of the Tri-State Fair we decided to pose a Fair questions.  For some it's the rides, for others it's the Midway and for many it's the food.  That's what we wanted to know, what is your favorite fair food.

As you can tell we had a wide variety of votes.  Cheese on a stick is my personal favorite.  There's no better way to clog your arteries.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special rule #6.  I was laying awake on night thinking about the show and how we've had a lot of "free" items lately.  I don't know about you but sometimes "free" co-notates "junk" to me.  I thought it might be better for you if you actually put a price on those things.

Rule #6 Always name a price, "Free" says "little value".  While a price, no matter how small implies worth.  Even if it's $.50 of $50 dollars.  Naming a price heightens the likelihood you'll get rid of what you're trying to give away.
