The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Holds Back The Heat

The show that takes listener exploitation to a new level was hard at it Saturday morning.

It's The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon and it's your classified ads on the radio.  We do it every Saturday from 9-Noon.  As always you are encouraged to call in and list for sale the stuff you no longer need and hopefully make the money you do.

We ask all our callers a poll question before they list their items.  The big question this weekend had to do with the weather.  Autumn has finally fallen and the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting cooler.  It's definitely not air conditioner weather but is it heater weather?

Most of our callers have avoided turning on the heater to this point.  Not me.  It got fairly well cold on Friday and I caved.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program, I always bring you a special rule #6.  It changes each week.  Sometimes inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week, this time it was a reminder to do a few fall chores.  It was also time change weekend and we had a reminder of that also.

Rule #6: Change the clocks, check the smoke detector, set ceiling fans to rotate clockwise.
