We came, we saw, we sold.  It was another edition of The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.

It's the show that brings buyers and sellers together.  We do it every Saturday morning and you're always invited.

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Sometimes on the serious side we went silly this week.  A lot of people are geeked up for the return of football in all its flavors officially over the weekend.  In honor of your favorite team we asked you to call the coin flip.

Heads or tails?

Heads 13

Tails 15

We flipped the coin at the end of the show and it came up heads.  Hopefully it worked out for your team last weekend.

We bring you the official rules of the program at the beginning of each hour.  Along with the five standard rules, I bring you a special Rule #6 that is often inspired by something that has happened to me over the last week.

On Wednesday I found myself in a drive thru fast food line.  The drive up speaker didn't work but we didn't know and we sat in line patiently waiting for someone to attend to us.  Then the people behind us got impatient and began honking.  This made my companion very angry and I was afraid a confrontation was about to occur.

When in a drive thru lane and its taking too long, before you honk consider who you are aiming the honk at.  Is it the business or the people in front of you?  Unfortunately you are honking at everybody and probably offending someone.  The truth is, everybody is in just as big a hurry as you are.

Rule #6 Don't honk in the drive thru line.

See you this Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
