Statue Of Liberty Getting Webcams For 125th Birthday

What do you get for the statue that has most everything?  Something she doesn't already have, of course.

Lady Liberty is turning 125 on October 28th.  For her birthday she's getting a technology upgrade.

Five torch webcams will be dedicated on her birthday.  This will allow internet users all over the world to get a live view of all the goings on at the statue.

The cameras were donated to the National Park Service by EarthCam.  They are based in New Jersey and manage webcams worldwide.
