Splash Amarillo Getting New Attraction, New Name

Slash Amarillo has been purchased by a Canton, Texas company and they have big plans.

The company is called Splash Kingdom and they have several plans in store.  Not only do they plan to update the main gate and add some new paint here and there but they are also planning on adding a major new attraction.

It isn't decided yet what the new attraction will be.  A speed slide from a 70 foot tower or a bowl slide among other ideas are being considered.  Even with the new additions it is expected the cost of a season ticket will drop $25.

The park will be renamed Splash Kingdom and plans to open for the season on Memorial Day weekend.
