Ski Mask Bandits Rob Downtown Convenience Store

Yesterday morning the 8Zero 1 convenience store was robbed around 8:30am before the store was even open.

A 39-year-old victim was alone in the store preparing to open.  He heard a knock on the back door.  He told the people outside the store was closed.  The voice from the otherside of the door claimed to be bringing items to a family member who called and requested them.

The man opened the back door and two men, on Hispanic, the other Black, both clad in ski masks and armed with pistols.  The suspects searched the back room of the store and took two money bags with an undisclosed amount of cash inside.  They did not enter the front of the store.

The suspects eventually fled the store out the same door they entered. Thankfully no one was hurt in this incident.
