Scientific American has released a primer in the form of a top 10 list identifying common myths about bedbugs.

I guess I've been pretty fortunate not to have any experience with bedbugs.  But the onslaught of the pests is worsening and it seems only a matter of time before we all will have to deal.

Some people think bedbugs can fly and thanks to the list I can tell you the cannot,  unless you blow them with a hair dryer then they fly about three feet.

Bedbugs are slow reproducers, bite all day long and don't just live in mattresses are some of the highlights.

One of the low lights; bedbugs are increasingly chemically resistant and costly fumigation is the only way to completely be rid of them.
