LONDON (AP) — A former tabloid reporter who admits illegally snooping on voicemails says he "routinely" hacked the phone of actor Daniel Craig.

Dan Evans has pleaded guilty to phone hacking while at the News of the World and the Sunday Mirror. He is a prosecution witness at the trial in London of former News of the World editors Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks, and five others.

He told the jury on Thursday: "I was routinely hacking Daniel Craig's phone from my Sunday Mirror days." He said he obtained a story about supermodel Kate Moss from Craig's voicemail messages.

Evans earlier told the court that his bosses knew he had hacked Craig's phone to get a story about the actor's affair with Sienna Miller.

The defendants deny all charges.
