Identity Theft is a real thing and people will do anything to get a hold of your personal information.   Since tax season is ending, a ton of personal information is available. When it comes to disposing of old information you don't just want to throw it in the trash.  People do comb through the trash looking for this information.

You want to protect yourself and your information and that's why it is important to shred your personal documents and disposed of it properly.   A lot of us don't own paper shredders and the ones we own don't work well.

Luckily, a few organizations offer document shredding and professional shredders take care of that paperwork and it is disposed of properly.   In fact coming up this weekend, you'll have a couple of chances to have your documents shredded.

Amarillo Crime Stoppers and Student Crime Stoppers have been offering this service now for 10 years.

WHAT: Shred It Day

WHEN: Saturday, April 21st, 10a-2p

Amarillo Crime Stoppers has once again teamed up with Document Shredding Services to properly destroy all your sensitive documents.

Amarillo National Bank is also offering a day to have your documents shredded.
