Phone And Web Scam In Amarillo

The City of Amarillo is warning residents about a phone/web scam making the rounds in the community.

There have been reports of a company calling residents and attempting to sell them advertising on a website called www.thecityofamarillo.com.

The city wants everyone to know that they are not affiliated with this organization.  Additionally the city does not sell advertising on its website.  The official site for the city is www.amarillo.gov.
