Local Businesses Pledge To Buy MPEV Luxury Suites

It's a divisive issue but some businesses have wasted no time to show their support.

The Multi-Purpose Event Venue or MPEV has split the community in two.  It seems everyone has an opinion on the issue.  Whether or not the facility will include a baseball stadium is up for vote now with the commencing of early voting which started today.  Election day is November 4th.

Already local businesses have pledged to purchase all 13 luxury seats in the MPEV.  And around 350 other seats have already been spoken for.

Supporters say this shows there is a need in Amarillo for the MPEV with a ballpark vs on without.

At this point no money has changed hands, these are simply verbal commitments.
