Grain And Pork Higher, Cattle Lower On The Chicago Board Of Trade
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 6.25 cents higher at 5.7150 a bushel; March corn was 2.25 cents higher at 4.3175 a bushel; March oats were unchanged at $3.9625 a bushel; while March soybeans gained 6.25 cents to 12.91 a bushel.
Beef was lower while pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .35 cents lower at $1.3975 a pound; March feeder cattle was .87 lower at $1.6800 a pound; April lean hogs gained .03 cent to $.9405 a pound.
