It's no lie the personal recipe for George Washington's home brew has surfaced.

The recipe is for "small beer" which is old school speak for low-alcohol beer - or beer meant for thirst quencing and not keg standing.

According to those who've tried it the taste is not suitable for modern day palets which is new school speak for it tastes like crap.

A modified version of the recipe to be known as "Fortitude's Founding Father Brew" will be served at the New York Public Library's Centennial Gala later this month.
