Flu Raging In Amarillo

The High Plains is often the last to see new products, companies and innovations.  We were also on the tail end of the current flu epidemic.  It's here now and taking Amarillo by storm.

BSA saw around 6,000 flu patients in December and that represents a tremendous increase over the average.  The flu season started earlier this year.

Although it isn't too late to protect yourself with a flu shot be aware it will take almost two weeks to be effective as a deterrent to catching the flu.
