FirstBank Southwest Tower Will Soon Have Apartments

The FirstBank Southwest Tower, formerly known as the Chase tower is the tallest building from Dallas to Denver. You can't think of the Amarillo skyline without seeing the huge building among the horizon.

We all know, nightlife has gotten much better in the last few months. When you go downtown it feels like a big city. Restaurants are way better, Sod Poodle games are amazing but there has been one piece of the puzzle missing.

That puzzle piece is Downtown living! The City of Amarillo has cleared the way for a new project designed to increase downtown living options. The FirstBank Southwest Towner will soon have apartments.

Currently, the building is 82% occupied so the only floors planned to be renovated will be the 11th and 12th. Just high enough to have a great view of our city. Sources say the hopes is to have people living in the apartments by the summer of 2020.
