Early Morning Wreck Critically Injuries One, Another Arrested

An auto accident early this morning critically injured one.

The accident happened around 1:24am near Southwest 34th and South Ong.  Speed and alcohol were factors in the wreck.  Investigating officers determined that a 2011 Dodge Charger being driven by 21-year-old Tristan Lane Beezley was speeding east on 34th when it ran into a 2011 Toyota Celica being driven by 20-year-old Nicholas Jago Martinez.  The collision caused both vehicles to roll over,  causing them to hit fences in front of homes on 34th.

Martinez was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.  A 20-year-old female passenger was also taken to the hospital.

Beezley was taken into custody and booked into Randall County Jail for Intoxicated Assault.  The investigation is ongoing.
