DPS confiscate marijuana during weekend traffic stop

The DPS has taken more illegal drugs off the streets.

Around 10:30 Saturday morning the DPS conducted a traffic stop on I-40 near Conway in Carson County. During a search of the vehicle a trooper discovered 23 bundles of marijuana hidden inside the Chevrolet Catipva. 30-year-old Dario Ivan Brav and 47-year-old Albert Campos Junior, both from Porterville, California were both arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The marijuana had an estimate street value of $104,000.
