You never appreciate having a clothes washer and dryer more than when you don't have one.  Because doing the laundry away from home can be a boring, trying experience.

My first year in Amarillo was somewhat difficult.  I didn't have a washer or dryer when I first arrived.  So once a week I went to the local laundromat to get my duds soaped.

It only took me six months to figure out it was cheaper to have the attendant do it than doing it myself.  That was a step forward.  Nowadays I don't need to go the the laundry as I'm finally set at home.

I remember when I was young and the whole family would got do the laundry.  Begging for quarters for the video game was a constant task.  In those days the Dallas Cowboys were quite popular and my parents insisted doing laundry then because the place wouldn't be so busy.  Never mind that I'd rather watch the game.

Here's a video of a young lady that has solved the laundromat doldrums.  She dances like no one is watching.  When I dance I HOPE no one is watching.

I've seen better.  But never at the laundry.
