Chipotle is set to soon open doors in Amarillo.  But a decision by the chain's founder has some thinking twice.

Chipotle foundeer Steve Ells has decided to import grass-fed beef from Australia, choosing it over Texas raised cattle, the nations leading producer or other domestic sources.

Ells claims he is not able to get the beef he wants due to the drought and an overall drop in the cattle population.

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples has gone on record saying Ells is 'misguided' and the decision is 'irresponsible'.  Staples says he would like to meet with Ells and Texas beef industry leaders.
