The panhandle has seen some crazy weather conditions so far in 2017. From huge wildfires, to late snows, to early record temperatures, this summer is certainly shaping up to be memorable.

But even with some heavy storms over the last couple months, conditions have remained dry across the area. Because of this, the Texas Forest Service along with local officials have instituted burn bans throughout the region. Most of which remain in effect well through the summer. Check with your local fire officials for exact dates.

As of June 20th, 2017, here is the latest list in the Amarillo region:

ARMSTRONG, BAILEY, CASTRO, CHILDRESS, DEAF SMITH, DONLEY, LAMB, MOTLEY, OCHILTREE, OLDHAM, POTTER, ROBERTS
