Amarillo Police are investigating an armed robbery of an Amarillo Boulevard business on Thursday.

APD officers were called to Lydia's Fashion and Design in the 2200 block of Amarillo Boulevard at around 7pm Thursday night.  Victims told police a man came into the store, picked up 8 to 10 Valentine's Day gift baskets and attempted to leave.  A store employee approached the man when the thief raised his shirt revealing a handgun and told the employee to step back or he would shoot.
