We've been told often not to leave our car unattended while warming it up but nobody can warn you you against getting you car stolen at the gas pumps.

Police have arrested 37-year-old Adrian Esquviel on charges he boosted a car form the Toot 'N Totum at 100 Tascosa Road.  A woman was filling up her 2012 Ford Fusion when a man brandishing a gun took the car and drove away.

Police have stated the man was loitering around the convenience store prior to the car theft.  The victim was able to describe the suspect and later the officer found the stolen car in the Walmart off Georgia Street and I-27.

Police canvassed the store and eventually located Esquivel in the store.  Police found him in possession of a key fob that matched to stolen vehicle.

He was taken into custody and charges are pending.
