Amarillo Police Looking For Suspect In Shooting At Sungate Apartments

Amarillo Police are still looking for a teenager suspected in the shooting of two people in a parking lot of Sungate Apartments Tuesday morning after 12:00 am. It is thought that he still might be carrying the weapon used in the shooting.

Police think Stacy Landon Torres, 17, shot Derek Wilson, 19, and Brandon Britton, 26 in the parking lot of Sungate Apartments early Tuesday morning. The wounds did not appear to be life threatening and both victims were transported to the hospital.

Two felony warrants have been issued for Torres in the charges.
