Amarillo Man Arrested After Saturday Stabbing

An Amarillo man was arrested Saturday after a stabbing incident on Columbia Lane.

Amarillo police were called the the 6800 block of Columbia Lane on Saturday February 6th a little after 4pm on reports of a stabbing.  Responding officers found a 64-year-old male victim with multiple stab wounds to the upper body.  The man was allegedly assaulted by a relative, 37-year-old Jeremy Scott Cunningham.

Cunningham was still at the scene when police arrived.  He was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for minor injuries sustained during the assault.  He was later booked into Randall County.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
