Amarillo Elects To Include Baseball Stadium In MPEV

Yesterday was election day and there were several issues on the ballot.  Most notably the issue of whether the MPEV would include a baseball stadium or not.  In a close vote the measure was approved\

Of the nearly 22,000 voters registered to vote around 22,000 voted.

The ball park referendum jas a $34 million dollar price tag which will be paid by a hotel occupancy tax.
