Aurora, Colorado hits pretty close to home both emotionally and geographically.  Don't presume it won't happen in Amarillo.  The FBI may have just prevented an encore performance.

Bureau of Land Management employee Peter J Madrid III has been held since Friday after making threats to coworkers.

He started working with the BLM office about a year ago.  Since then he has threatened to kill at least six coworkers, sexually harassed female peers and believed he was being stalked.

He also maintained a 'kill list' of employees.  Things came to a head after the Aurora shooting.  He got excited and told coworkers the shooter 'got them'.

BLM employees, tired of his antics and concerned for their safety notified the FBI who made an arrest after a short investigation.

Madrid is being held without bond in the Randall country jail.  He has a hearing Tuesday.
