Amarillo Baby’s Death Ruled A Strangulation

Amarillo police were called to a residence on Southwest 4th Saturday.

Upon arrival authorities found a nine-month old boy unconscious and unresponsive.  The baby was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

A preliminary autopsy revealed injuries to the baby's upper body and other injuries consistent with strangulation.

No arrest has been made at this time.
