There is a ton of construction at the downtown exit from I-40 and when you come from that direction you are going to be slowed down.

Usually Buchanan is the best route to take to get to the Civic Center, but now it isn't.  It is wreck with construction.  So if you are taking the I-40 exit into downtown or coming from I-27 go ahead and take Fillmore to 3rd St.  Then take a right on 3rd and that will bring you to the North Side of the Civic Center which is where the North Exhibit Hall is located.

If you are coming from the West, you might just want to exit Washington and take Washington to 3rd, and then 3rd to the Civic Center.

If you are coming from the East, you might exit Ross, and take 3rd to the Civic Center or take 10th to Johnson, then right on Johnson to 3rd Street or you can park in the back of the Civic Center and come in at the Heritage Room exit.

The normal route into downtown will slow you down, do take these alternate routes.
