The Texas Department of Public Safety executed two search warrants on Sunday evening that led to contraband, cash, and weapon seizures.  The authorities also made two arrests.

The Texas Department of Safety with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Randall County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at the residence at 3601 North East 16th in Amarillo around 5pm on Sunday.

During the search investigators found almost 10 pounds of methamphetamine and three ounces of cocaine.  The occupant of the home, 30-year-old Eduardo Gutierrez was taken into custody following the search.

That raid led investigators to a second Amarillo home.  This second one at 6715 North East 17th.  The search of the second residence led to around $15,000 in United State currency, four firearms, cocaine, and marijuana.  A resident of the home, 39-year-old Romero Camacho was also taken into custody.

The DPS investigation is ongoing and more arrests could be possible.
