Xcel Energy Upgrading Transmission Lines In Amarillo

Xcel is planning upgrades in excess of $30 million for transmission of power to Amarillo.

The hunger for power never decreases and Xcel is being forced to cope with demand.  The upgrades will affect most of the city, especially in high growth areas where demand has outstripped infrastructure.

Xcel has not commented on how much this will increase your bill.
