WASHINGTON (AP) — A U.S. Naval Academy midshipman is taking the stand for a third day to testify against three academy football players accused of sexually assaulting her.

The woman is expected to take the stand again Friday. She has said she doesn't remember the alleged assault but has testified this week about what happened after the incident during a party at an off-campus house.

On Thursday, a recorded telephone call between the woman and one of the accused midshipmen was played. In the call, she is heard asking him to tell Navy investigators nothing happened and that she didn't want the investigation to go anywhere. The woman testified that she was wrong to try to obstruct the investigation.
