So the new phone books are coming, (what's a phone book?).   Yes it is that time of year to have those big clunky books dropped on your doorstep.  Whether you use them for their purpose or you use them as a doorstop.  They don't need to be thrown in a landfill.  Here's the details on where to recycle your used (or even new for that matter) phone books.

You can drop off your phonebooks at the following locations through May 9th.

City Recycling Center at SE 27th & Hayes

Wal-Mart at I-40 & Grand

Wal-Mart at I-27 & Georgia;

Wal-Mart at Coulter & 45th

Wal-Mart at Amarillo Blvd. & Tascosa Rd.

Sam's Club at 2201 Ross-Osage Dr.

Hastings/River Rd. Recycling Site (West of Fire Station # 4).
