West Texas Becoming An Old Western Ghost Town

This is Las Vegas.  West Texas is looking a lot like this these days.

According to a recent article in the Houston Chronicle although Texas recorded the largest population growth in America over the past decade folks are moving out of West Texas.

Folks are moving to Amarillo, Lubbock and El Paso and getting out of the plains.  Sad to see rural life slowly disappearing.  It was a big part of my early life.  But like today we moved to the city like everybody else.
