West Texas A&M Revisits Student Residential Policy
The fall semester is almost here and Canyon is bracing for an increased student population thanks to new residential requirements at West Texas A&M.Last fall the student population was around 1,700. This year it is expected to be nearly 2,200 on campus students.
The new housing requirements are a reinforcement of the 2-year residency rule. Some students lessened that requirement through high school credits. Now those credits will no longer be accepted towards shortening the two year residency requirement.
