A 30-inch water line located on Randolph Road is in need of repair which the City of Amarillo approved a bid to fix the problem.

Most of the work will be done in the mouth of the alleyway between Harmony and Kingston, in the 4900 block of Randolph Road, and the 3200 block of Kingston Road. The repair of the water pipeline is not affecting the water service in the area.

Construction is expected to start Thursday, April 25. and to be completed by May 3. Area residents will experience temporary closure to 4900 Randolph Road between Harmony and Kingston. The North and South alley's will be close and also temporary relocating of the dumpsters.

The city and its contractor had said they will "work hard to minimize any effects on the closure for the area motorists and residents".
