Saturday night was a special night for the Amarillo Venom.

The Venom defeated the Abilene Ruff Riders 56-48 and with the win moved into a first place tie with Rio Grande Valley at 5-4.

Around 3000 people took in the game at Cal Farley.

While the game was won largely by the defense wide receiver Anthony Clark has an outstanding game, recovering an onside kick, moonlighted at defensive end with a sack and had two touchdown catches.
