LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 64-year-old Texas man is due to face a judge on charges that he shot wildly at a downtown Las Vegas bus station.

James Abney of Forney, Texas, is due Tuesday for an initial appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court.

No one was injured in the Thursday evening shooting at the Greyhound bus station, about block from the Fremont Street Experience.

Police say Abney faces felony charges including attempted murder, attempted battery with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.

Police say Abney had been ushered out of the bus station on other occasions, and the gunfire erupted after he was asked several times by uniformed personnel to leave the building.
