TxDot Seize Meth, Heroin And More During I-40 Traffic Stop

Saturday a routine traffic stop on I-40 turned into a massive haul of illegal substances and more.

TxDot pulled over a 2012 Toyota Tundra for a traffic violation near Bushland on I-40.

During the stop the officer discovered over three pounds of meth, nearly three ounces of heroin, 37 units of Oxycontin, and a stolen 9mm handgun.

The occupants were booked into Potter County on various charges.  The occupants were identified at 27-year old Jessica Garner and 23-year old Paris L Castillo both of Torreon, NM.  The drugs were allegedly on their way to Oklahoma City.
