New York City Hit With Another Winter Snowstorm

The Texas Department of Transportation is launching a new campaign called "Drive to Conditions".  The effort is hoping to help drivers adapt to changing and varied road conditions.

Texas has 79,000 miles of roadway that take motorists through a variety of conditions depending on location and an equal variety of road conditions due to weather and construction.

In 2012 the number of Texas traffic fatalities was 3,999.  That was a 10.8% increase over 2011.

Motorists are asked to 'Drive to Conditions' and has posted many tips for the various types of road conditions they may expect.
