Trade-A-Thon Is Like A Box Of Chocolates
We brought buyers and sellers together Saturday on The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.
It's want ads on the radio called in by the listeners of News Talk 940. We do it every Saturday and if you need us, we got you covered.
THE BIG QUESTION
We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing. It helps us get to know you better and provides a running theme for the listener that ties our calls together.
It was the third week for our series of Easter questions. This week we asked which you preferred between to traditional Easter gifts.
Which would you rather have, an Easter basket or a box of chocolates?
Our callers preferred the box over the basket. Personally I prefer the basket. Mainly because the basket will probably have chocolate but also include other stuff like surprise eggs and jelly beans.
We have rules on Trade-A-Thon. We go over those rules at the beginning of each of our three hours. Sometimes it's poor man's observational humor or inspired by something I thought over the last week. This week we presented a rule to help you color your Easter eggs.
They can be quite tricky to dunk, get evenly coated, and out of the dye bath without getting coloring all over everything. It can be especially difficult for young kids to do.
Last week I saw a great tip for coloring eggs and thought it made an apropos rule for Trade-A-Thon.
Rule #6: Put your eggs inside an egg whisk for dunking into coloring.
See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
