Trade-A-Thon Announces The Egg Is Missing And Asks Listeners If They Hid It
Between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, we brought, sold, and traded once again.
It’s Trade-A-Thon presented by Damron’s Pawn. We do it every Saturday morning from 9-noon. The show represents your opportunity to call in and list for sale whatever you’d like besides guns and ammunition. That’s what Damron’s Pawn is for! You can also tune in and wait to be tempted by something you must have at a price you won’t pass up.
THE BIG QUESTION
We ask all our callers a poll question before they make their listing. It helps us get to know them a little better and provides a running theme that ties together all the calls. Sometimes silly, sometimes bizarre, this week we wanted to help out and solve a troubling mystery.
I know I’m not supposed to discuss this openly or worse, post it on the internet but these are dire times. The Egg is missing. Yes, that’s right, THE Egg. I’m surprised we’ve made it this long without already facing Armageddon. It was stolen sometime over the night Friday and I know I don’t have to tell you from where. In the event that one of our callers was the perpetrator or current keeper of The Egg, I felt it necessary to interrogate each one, hoping to save humanity.
Where did you hide The Egg?
Everyone claimed they knew nothing.
We go over the rules of the program at the beginning of every hour. There are five regular rules of conduct, plus I always bring you a special Rule #6. It changes every week and is usually inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week. For several years now, I’ve told the same story on Easter weekend.
When I was a pre-teen I attended a city-wide Easter egg hunt. Late in the hunt and with no eggs in my basket I was getting desperate when my eyes spotted a brown Easter egg. Although I was close to getting it, I was beaten by another young boy. Thankfully I got beat because that was no Easter egg, in fact it was quite disgusting.
Rule #6 There are no brown Easter Egg
Join us next Saturday morning at 9 for another Trade-A-Thon presented by Damron’s Pawn.
